This is an update post.
Anabelle is doing good in school. She really likes it and is really doing a great job writing her name and a few other words. She loves to ride her bike and rides like a crazy person. I always expect her to tip over because she makes such tight turns but I haven't see it yet. Anabelle is very shy and reserved most of the time but she shows no fear when riding her bike. Also, I don't know any kid who can run for as long as Anabelle. I think we have a real athlete on our hands.
Ava is using the potty most of the time now. Some days go better then others but I would say that she mostly uses the potty. Ava draws little circles now and lines to mimic writing letters and words. I think Avas favorite thing to do right now is listen to books and play play-dough. She is not shy or reserved and really enjoys talking on the phone.
Heath is only taking one class this semester one day a week so he's around a lot these days. He is taking this semesters light work load as an opportunity to learn to cook. He does excellent work and follows directions really well (this is especially important since a recipe is simply directions). If you have any suggestions of things you think Heath should learn to cook please let us know. I figure Heath will be cooking 1 or 2 meals a week in the fall when I'm taking classes. So far he has mastered spaghetti, chicken pot pie and Chicken stroganoff. He has also baked a loaf of bread from scratch.
I have made all my new years resolutions. Here they are: 1) walk more 2) eat more ice cream 3) finish last years resolution (which was to a get a really great black dress and look good in it somewhere).
We still don't know where in AR we'll moving in May. Most of the time this uncertainty makes me feel crazy. But sometimes I remember that I am a precious child of God and that every truly good thing that I want, God wants too. I am learning many things and I will leave TX a different girl then I was almost 4 years ago when we started here. We'll let you all know when we know where we will be this summer.
