Anabelle's preschool has a deal going where she brings home a slip of paper each day that we are supposed to fill out concerning a book we have read together. Andrea has pointed out before how odd it is that not only do they have a blank on there for the title of the book, the date, and the student's name, but they also have a blank for the parent's signature. Do they really think 4 year olds could come up with the date themselves and write out the title of the book?
This morning at breakfast Andrea filled out the slip, but she couldn't think of a title of a book that we had read. Not that we haven't both read alot with them, it's just that, as many of you know, they all kind of run together after a while.
So Andrea made up the title of a book: "Mouse and Elephant". I was curious just now, and googled this title, and it is actually a kids book. I guess now we should get it and actually read it. it sounds like it will be alot different from the other books we have. :)
